obviously we do. and we heard babies love it too.
so the entire house has concrete floors and we just didn't think that was enough. So we are going to have concrete counter tops for our kitchen as well. Troy and excellent helper Charlie - (aka Troy's Dad, aka Poppy to little Milo and his other 4 grand kids) Did "the big pour" today. Everyone cross their fingers for 4 days please to make sure it cures correctly. No need to discuss someone's grizzly adams / serial killer look these days.
Troy is my hero besides being a great husband. He is always willing to try anything with the house. Which means we can do lots of stuff that maybe we couldn't if we had to pay someone to do it. Troy knocked down this weird platform that the old fireplace was on and hauled it outside. He then cleaned it up (in troyland that means soaking everything in acid and repainting and re casting concrete fire tiles for the inside. The last photo is it finished and in the house. This guy is good. (please note the lovely wood paneling in our living room. That is no longer here either.)
