On Sunday we went over to Paw-Paw's house and had a good day playing with Paw-Paw, Dad and the dogs. (minus Heidi who wanted to eat Osby's face off.... we won't be hanging around this dog again until Osby is 15... very scary) But Osby had a great day and Paw Paw couldn't have been more pleased that Osby wanted to watch golf with him. Osby likes following the ball. And in case you get lost... Osby constantly says "BBBAAAALLLLLLL" to make sure you know where the ball is too.
Mimi and PawPaw liked the post about the laundry basket wagon but agreed that it was sad. They went in with us to get a wagon. (thanks mimi and Pawpaw!!!)
Here is the first time osby got in it. He look upset because Mr "Me-do" wanted to be pulling the wagon.. not riding in it.
Here are some more photos of Osby enjoying the wagon today. He likes it when you go really fast... hence the whiplash.
you may remember calvin and his mommy christy from some earlier posts about the park and book time. Now that I don't have a job, I have more time for some play dates. It has been lovely. Both Osby and Calvin are benefiting from the new situation and need to learn how to share and Christy and I both enjoy some adult time together. We have had 2 dates so far. These photos are of Calvin and Osby hanging in the back yard together.
this is how you play in the tunnel:
this is how you mow:
we bought a sand box a while ago. Osby took a while to warm up to it. At first, he would just stand on the side and put his hands in it. then he would get in it, but wouldn't get dirty and would get out pretty quickly. now... he gets in and you can pretty much bury him. He does like to throw sand - which stinks when it is a direct hit down my shirt into my bra. which he has done more than once. Now i he even goes on the patio, he runs over to it and starts pulling up the cover and saying his word for "box". here he is getting dirty with dad.
I'm ashamed to say that this is Daddy's first post. As much as I wanted to leave the poo-post at the top, I thought I would share Osby devouring one of his favorite foods - berries of any kind. These berries happen to be blackberries. Osby likes to refer to both blueberries and blackberries as ...."BOO-BAHS"!
tonight we had a bubble bath.
do you know what a bubble bath can hide?
it can hide the fact that your son pooped in the water for the first time in his life and there is corn and tomatoes and large balls of feces floating everywhere under the pristine white bubbles.
(there is no photo for this post.)
you can thank me later.
I have scrubbed my hands and under my finger nails a few times after fishing all the poop out with my hands. I think I will have some wine now...
troy has been working A LOT lately. More than the usual a lot. This weekend we got 2 whole days together which was awesome and we all enjoyed it. Here are just some random photos from this weekend of us playing in the yard together. Third one down, Osby is smelling the flowers he just walked away from. He always sniffs in a little late for it to count.
